- Extra virgin olive oil 35 ml
- Garlic cloves, thinly sliced 3 unidades
- Parmesan cheese freshly grated 40 g
- Basil fresh leaves 30 g
- Salt al gusto
- Black pepper al gusto

Method

Cook the wholemeal pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Reserve 200 ml of cooking water before draining.

Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large frying pan. Cook the garlic gently for 1 minute without burning it.

Add the cherry tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and sauté for 6–8 minutes, until they begin to burst.

Add the pasta and about half a glass of the reserved water. Toss over the heat for 2 minutes to bring the sauce together.

Remove from the heat and stir in half the Parmesan until creamy. Add more cooking water if needed.

Finish with fresh basil, the remaining Parmesan and freshly ground pepper.
