How to choose
Two components or one preparation
If you want to serve a side dish and another component with different timings, a dual-zone model such as AF400EU helps with organisation. If you cook one main preparation per batch, a single COSORI or Philips basket may be more useful. The Ninja's 9.5 L is the total of two 4.75 L drawers, not one continuous tray.
Organising meals at home
First decide how much must fit in each batch. For crisp potatoes, avoid filling the drawer to the top; for vegetables, cut similar-sized pieces. If preparing two different foods, check both separately even when synchronisation makes them finish together.
What each layout gives up
A single basket does not offer two simultaneous programmes. Two drawers require space and may not accommodate a large piece. Before buying, measure the worktop and confirm the usable basket area and your containers' dimensions. Do not base the final decision solely on litres or the advertised number of diners.
Methodology and limitations
This selection is based on manufacturers' product pages and manuals, not our own hands-on tests. We have not measured these appliances' speed, noise, energy use or cooking results. Recommendations concern basket layout and meal organisation, without scores or fixed prices. Best suited to: Families preparing two meal components · Cooking a side dish and main course separately
What we like
- Two independent zones with a total capacity of 9.5 L.
- SYNC and MATCH functions to coordinate or duplicate cooking settings.
Things to consider
- The 9.5 L capacity is divided between two drawers: it is not equivalent to one basket of that size.
- The double-drawer design requires enough worktop space and clearance to open both drawers.
Methodology and evidence
Review of manufacturer documentation and analysis of cooking uses. No hands-on tests, ratings, prices or stock information.
This model's advantage is organisation: each drawer uses its own programme, and SYNC lets you coordinate when they finish. It is our choice for a meal with two components, provided that the quantities fit in each basket.
Do not compare its 9.5 L total capacity with a single basket for roasting a large piece of food. Each zone holds 4.75 L. To serve vegetables and another preparation together, calculate the quantities per drawer and check each component for doneness separately. Synchronisation does not replace that check.

COSORI TurboBlaze 6 L — CAF-DC602-KEUR
A single 6-litre basket and a wide temperature range for switching between everyday cooking and low-temperature preparations.
Capacity: 6 LPower: 1725 WEditorial score: 9.8/10
Specification-based analysis · Reviewed 13 Sep 2026
Best suited to: Everyday cooking in one basket · Anyone looking for a wide temperature range
What we like
- A nominal 6 L capacity in one basket, rather than two drawers.
- A stated temperature range of 30–230 °C.
Things to consider
- A single zone: preparations requiring different temperatures need separate batches.
- Nominal volume does not tell you how many pieces fit in a single layer.
Methodology and evidence
Review of manufacturer documentation and analysis of cooking uses. No hands-on tests, ratings, prices or stock information.
This is our single-basket pick for the combination of capacity and temperature range stated in its manual, not because of a comparative speed test. Its 6 L capacity lets you organise a generous batch, but foods that need to brown still need space between them.
For potatoes and vegetables, do not simply extend the cooking time to compensate for an overcrowded basket. Divide the load and shake or stir when the recipe calls for it. Check the CAF-DC602-KEUR reference: we do not assume that US variants or other TurboBlaze models with different codes are equivalent.

Philips 3000 Series Airfryer NA332/00 — 6.2 L
A single 6.2-litre basket for anyone who prioritises an undivided cooking space over two independent zones.
Capacity: 6.2 LPower: 1700 W

Best suited to: Families cooking one preparation per batch · Anyone who prefers an undivided basket
What we like
- A nominal 6.2 L capacity in a single basket.
- A specific model reference that is easy to distinguish from the larger sizes in the series.
Things to consider
- Only one cooking zone.
- Other capacities in the 3000 Series are different models.
Methodology and evidence
Review of manufacturer documentation and analysis of cooking uses. No hands-on tests, ratings, prices or stock information.
The NA332/00 offers slightly more nominal volume than a 5.2 L or 5.5 L basket. That may help with a batch of vegetables or potatoes, although the volume alone does not guarantee an extra portion: the basket's shape and surface area also matter.
Before choosing a baking tin, check the usable dimensions and leave room for air to circulate around it. Do not use the capacity of another Philips model as a reference: this review covers only the NA332/00, with a stated capacity of 6.2 L and power of 1700 W.

Frequently asked questions
What should I choose for four people?
It depends on the menu and batch size. Check how much fits in one layer: we do not automatically assign four portions to a particular capacity.
Can I cook two dishes at different temperatures?
With two independent zones, you can set each drawer separately. A single basket requires a shared programme or cooking in batches.
Have the recipes been tested in all these models?
No. These are AceiteySal air-fryer recipes; you will need to adapt the load, arrangement and timings to your appliance.
