Method

  1. Chop the walnuts for 4 seconds at speed 4 and set aside. Chop the dark chocolate for 10 seconds at speed 8. Add the softened butter and mix for 1 minute at speed 3.

  2. Add the sugar and eggs and mix for 3 minutes at speed 3. Add the flour and baking powder, mix for 15 seconds at speed 3 and finish folding in the walnuts with the spatula.

  3. Pour into a lined 22 cm cake tin. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes, until a skewer comes out without raw batter. Cool before removing from the tin.
