Method

Cook the bacon in a dry frying pan for 4–5 minutes until browned. Drain and cool before filling.

Lay out the empanadilla pastry discs and divide the bacon, goat’s cheese, walnuts and a total of 8 g of honey between their centres. Leave the edges clear.

Bring the edges up into a pouch and pinch the neck to seal. Beat the egg and brush a thin layer on the outside.

Preheat the empty air fryer for 5 minutes at 180°C. Cook two batches of four spaced-out parcels for 8–10 minutes at 180°C until the pastry is cooked and golden, including around the seal.

Rest for 3 minutes, drizzle the remaining 8 g of honey over them and serve two parcels per person.
