Let’s get cooking

Method

  1. Rinse the cut potatoes until the water runs clear, soak in cold water for 20 minutes, drain and dry thoroughly.

  2. Toss the potatoes with the olive oil and 2 g salt. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C and cook at 170°C for 10 minutes; shake, then finish at 190°C for 7-9 minutes.

  3. Mix the mayonnaise, Greek yoghurt, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, white pepper, lemon juice and remaining 2 g salt. Chill the ranch sauce until needed.

  4. Air-fry the bacon at 185°C for 5-7 minutes, stirring once, until browned. Drain off the excess fat.

  5. Transfer the chips to a dish that fits the basket, add 120 g ranch sauce, then scatter over the bacon, Cheddar cheese and Gouda cheese. Cook at 190°C for 4-5 minutes until melted and serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
