Method

Melt 200 g chocolate in a bain-marie and cool slightly. Blend pitted dates with 60 ml syrup, oil and eggs. Fold in melted chocolate, ground almonds, oat flour, salt and baking powder.

Mix tahini with 30 ml syrup. Pour the batter into a lined 22 × 22 cm tin and spoon over the tahini caramel. Swirl with a skewer and add the remaining chopped chocolate and flaky salt.

Bake at 180°C for 22–25 minutes until the edges are firm and the centre is moist but cooked. Cool before cutting.
